INDIANAPOLIS — Pop star Taylor Swift wrapped up the U.S. shows of The Eras Tour in Indianapolis, with more than 200,000 people in attendance Nov. 1-3.
One of the most anticipated moments of The Eras Tour is the “22” hat giveaway. That’s where the pop star gifts an autographed hat to one lucky, handpicked fan.
13News spoke off-camera with the mother of Sunday night's recipient, Evy Martz, an 11-year-old from Rushville, Indiana.
We now know who received Saturday night's "22" hat, thanks to social media.
In 2017, longtime "Swiftie" Cindy Childs started a livestream on Instagram that Swift watched and commented on, writing "Cindy I love you."
At that time, Childs' daughter, Eloise, was a few months old, and Childs showed off her baby girl.
According to screenshots posted by fans, Swift left multiple comments on Childs' livestream, including an all-caps "ELOISE" and "she's a tiny baby and I will totally meet her and A when they're not 3 months old and jus tryna GET SOME REST."
That opportunity came Saturday, Nov. 2 at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Now 7 years old, Eloise received Swift's hat during "22," with the singer appearing to say to Eloise," Last time I saw you, you were a baby" — with Swift making a motion of rocking a baby.
In an Instagram post after the concert, Childs wrote, "Thank you, @taylorswift & @taylornation, for making Eloise’s wildest dreams come true, she really *peaked at seven*."
