INDIANAPOLIS — Grab a friend and get ready to dance because a new concert venue is opening in the heart of Broad Ripple.
Indianapolis-based company Forty5 Presents is holding a grand opening for Turntable on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Tickets to the event are free and available online here.
Turntable is located at 6281 N. College Ave., near Broad Ripple Avenue.
Event organizers said Turntable has an intimate, listening-room-style atmosphere and serves for an audience base of 18 years and up.
"It offers a cozy, speakeasy-inspired vibe, creating a unique connection between artists and attendees," said Ashley Miser, vice president of strategic partnerships and growth at Forty5. "Its focus is on fostering a deeper appreciation of the music and the storytelling behind each performance, making it ideal for acoustic sets, singer-songwriters, and more curated music experiences."
Guests will be able to get a drink at the venue's full-service bar or enjoy light refreshments from local vendors.
Turntable is the latest addition to Forty5 Presents' portfolio of music venues. Their other venues include The Vogue, Rock the Ruins and The Tobias Theater.
“Forty5 is built on the belief that live music has the unique power to connect people, ignite partnerships, and enhance the overall quality of life," Forty5 CEO Jenny Boyts said. "So whether it’s a quiet acoustic set or a community partner hosting a private event, the audience is part of every moment, and that kind of shared experience is rare and special. It brings back the essence of live music in a way that feels authentic and personal."
Some upcoming concerts are Alex Williams, with Addison Johnson, on Oct. 25; Pat McGee on Nov. 1; a Taylor Swift Brunch Pop-Up, with DJ Wild Woman, on Nov. 2; and Mirror Indy Votes! Pre-election Party on Nov. 3.
