Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top extend 'The Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour' to perform in central Indiana

Two of America's biggest classic rock bands are performing in central Indiana next summer.

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — Two of America's biggest classic rock bands are coming to central Indiana next summer.

Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top announced an extension of their co-headlining tour, "The Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour."

More than 30 shows were added to the tour, including a trip to Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024. The concert is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Lynyrd Skynyrd is currently celebrating the 50th anniversary of its debut album, "(Pronounced 'Lĕh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd)," released in 1973.

The band is currently comprised of Johnny Van Zant, Rickey Medlocke, Damon Johnson, Mark “Sparky” Matejka, Michael Cartellone, Keith Christopher, Peter Keys, Carol Chase and Stacy Michelle.

The Outlaws will also be performing on the tour as special guests.
