INDIANAPOLIS — The "Avatar," master of all four elements, is coming to downtown Indianapolis to perform alongside a live orchestra this fall.
"Avatar: The last Airbender In Concert" will stop by the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre for two shows on Saturday, Oct. 26.
The two-hour concert will take guests through Aang's journey from the beloved animated series with the sounds of a live orchestra accompanied by some of the show's most iconic scenes.
Emmy Award-winning composer and musician Jeremy Zuckerman is teaming up with the show's co-creators to put on the concert, and is also expanding on the show's original compositions.
"It’s been incredibly satisfying and moving to see the audiences’ emotional response to these concerts, and to be a part of that atmosphere is a uniquely beautiful experience,” Zuckerman said. “I’m overjoyed that many more people - Avatar fans both new and old - will get to experience the show during this wider tour."
Tickets for the Oct. 26 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. shows go on sale Friday, April 19 at 10 a.m.
