Downtown Indianapolis venue changes name

The name change coincides with that of Indiana's largest credit union.

INDIANAPOLIS — You may remember Teachers Credit Union changed its name in the summer to Everwise Credit Union.

Now, a popular downtown Indianapolis venue is changing its name in conjunction with Indiana's largest credit union.

The TCU Amphitheater at White River State Park, located at 801 W. Washington St., will now be known as the Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park.

The Everwise brand launched June 26, "to better reflect its mission to empower and serve all people and grow beyond its original educator roots," according to organizers.

"There has been such excitement around our name change, and we're thrilled this incredible venue is now the Everwise Amphitheater," said Angie Dvorak, chief marketing and growth officer at Everwise. "The amphitheater is the premier music destination in downtown Indianapolis, and it serves as an ideal place to connect with our members and the community. We're pleased to serve as the title sponsor and to be a part of this world-class facility."

In 2023, the outdoor venue hosted more than 40 concerts, including performances from 5 Seconds of Summer, Counting Crows, Jodeci, Noah Kahan and more.

Multiple acts have already been announced for the 2024 season, including:

  • Dustin Lynch with Skeez — Friday, April 26
  • NEEDTOBREATHE with Judah & the Lion — Wednesday, May 22
  • Parker McCollum with Corey Kent — Friday, June 28
  • Jordan Davis with Mitchell Tenpenny and Ashley Cooke — Wednesday, July 31

The credit union remains 100% member-owned and headquartered in South Bend.
