WARSAW, Ind. — A northern Indiana restaurant chain is closing its doors at the end of the week.
Penguin Point, an Indiana-based fast-casual chain, announced via its Facebook page that the remaining six stores would close by the weekend.
The restaurant served a variety of the standard American fast food menu. Burgers, fries, chicken, fish and hot dogs made up the majority of the menu.
Penguin Point's closure comes nearly a full year after the restaurant's parent company closed seven locations outside of Indiana, leaving just nine operating. The South Bend, Elkhart and Syracuse stores were later also shuttered.
The remaining six stores, located in Auburn, Columbia City, North Manchester, Wabash and Warsaw, will now permanently shutter at some point between Nov. 11 and Nov. 12.
