INDIANAPOLIS — There is a risk of severe thunderstorms this afternoon into the evening.
Rotating storms are likely, especially in west central Indiana.
Tornadoes are possible this evening too. The Storm Prediction Center has Indianapolis and points to the south and west in a 5% probability of a tornado developing within 25 miles of a point.
West central and southwest central Indiana has the best chance of severe weather.
Please stay weather aware. If you are outdoors and hear the warning sirens, please go indoors and turn on Channel 13 or open your Live Doppler 13 Radar app. We will be broadcasting when any tornado warning is triggered. The best timing will be from 5pm until midnight, for the strongest storms.
