INDIANAPOLIS — Dangerous heat is back in the forecast.
The hottest days will be Wednesday and this weekend with highs in the middle and upper 90s.
Take precautions from the heat on Wednesday with highs near 95 degrees and feels like temperatures 100-105.
The southern part of our area is under a heat advisory. Even if you are not in the advisory area, be prepared for the heat.
A late day storm is possible on Wednesday too. We are under the risk for severe weather.
The latest data is not in agreement on where the line of storms develops. Our Futuretrak analysis has the line developing late afternoon and early evening in the eastern part of the state.

There will be a wind shift behind that storm chance, so it won't be as hot or as humid on Thursday. Forecast highs are still near 90 degrees on Thursday with sunny skies.
Highs are back into the lower 90s on Friday and the upper 90s this weekend. "Feels like" temperatures will top 100 this weekend.
There is a late day storm chance on Sunday. Heavy rain and storms are possible early next week.
