INDIANAPOLIS — Warmer temperatures are on the way but with the help of a strong wind out of the south. Winds will gust over 30 mph at times through the afternoon.
With the recent dry conditions and low humidity today, there is a risk of rapidly spreading fire.
It is recommended to hold off on any outside burning today while the wind gusts are strong.
Strong winds continue through the afternoon with 30-35 mph gusts possible around 5 p.m.
The wind will calm slightly this evening and will be much lighter by early Sunday. With winds only 5-10 mph tomorrow, outdoor burning will no longer be an issue.
