INDIANAPOLIS — Rain and a few storms are in the forecast for Thursday.
The greatest risk for severe weather is to the south, especially across the Gulf Coast. That threat for severe weather shifts to the southeast on Thursday.
Locally, a gusty storm is possible.
Temperatures will be in the 50s overnight and fall into the 40s on Thursday. The rain will end later Thursday night. Before it ends, it may mix with some snow late Thursday into early Friday.

In addition to a gusty storm or 2 on Thursday there is a wind advisory in effect for the northern half of the state with wind gusts 45mph+.
Friday will be cooler with sunny skies. It will be a breezy day with highs in the range of 45 to 50 degrees. There is more sunshine in the weekend forecast. It will be a frosty start with morning temperatures in the upper 20s on Saturday. Saturday afternoon will be sunny and mild with highs in the middle 50s. Sunshine and 60s are in the Sunday forecast. More sunshine and more 60s are in the Monday forecast. The weather pattern stays warm with highs in the range of 65 to 70 degrees on Tuesday and Wednesday. There will be a chance for storms both days too.
