ST. PAUL, Ind. (WTHR) - When you think of cliff diving, you may not think of Indiana, but a park in the south central part of the state aims to change that.
White Rock Park in St. Paul will make your heart pump in a hurry!
The stone quarry became a swimming hole back in the 1950s. The quarry is spring-fed, so the water is clean and cool!
The park doesn't keep track of how many people come each summer, but for $15 a pop, it's worth the drive to St. Paul. College kids love the place!
The same family has owned the park for nearly 40 years.
"We want family and friends to come here together, have a great time together, make memories with each other and, we hope, have a great time and come back for many years," said owner Derek Gahimer.
In addition to cliffs that rise as high as 30 feet above the water, there is a zip line to ride and drop into the water. If you're not feeling quite so brave, you can always go the easy route and float the day away.
White Rock Park sits on the Shelby-Decatur county line, just south of I-74.
