INDIANAPOLIS — We've known for months which teams the Indianapolis Colts will play next season, and we'll soon learn the dates those games will be played.
According to reports, the NFL will release the 2024 schedule on Wednesday, May 15. The annual release has become another production for the league and its teams, who have gone to creative lengths in recent years to share the schedule on social media once it's revealed.
In addition to home and road games against AFC South rivals Houston, Jacksonville and Tennessee, the Colts will host Buffalo, Chicago, Detroit, Miami and Pittsburgh at Lucas Oil Stadium. Indianapolis will hit the road for games against Denver, Green Bay, Minnesota, New England and both New York teams – the Jets and Giants.
On May 14, the Colts announced that single game tickets for 2024 home games at Lucas Oil Stadium will go on sale at colts.com/tickets and ticketmaster.com immediately following the official release of the NFL schedule at 8 p.m.
Among the notable games are the Colts' first home matchups against the Bills and Dolphins since 2018 and 2019, respectively, and multiple road games against the two New York teams in the regular season for the first time in nearly two decades.
The schedule announcement could be a lucrative one for one Colts fan.
Last month, team owner Jim Irsay announced a contest offering $1 million to the fan who could correctly predict the team's entire 18-week schedule.
If someone is able to correctly predict each week’s opponent, as well as the bye week, Irsay will award them $1 million. If there are multiple correct predictions, a winner will be chosen from the finalists by random drawing.
If no one gets them all right, the person with the most correct answers will get a VIP Home Opener prize. It includes all-expenses paid travel, hotel, tickets, sideline passes, sideline merchandise and concession credit.
