INDIANAPOLIS — Looking to cheer on your favorite NFL team from the sidelines next season?
The Indianapolis Colts cheerleaders just released dates and deadlines for its 2024 auditions.
To help those auditioning prepare, current Colts cheerleaders and staff will host weekly prep classes, along with a series of free open-gym-style classes.
Those interested in auditioning must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma.
Here are the dates and deadlines for the audition process:
- Monday, March 18 - Those interested in auditioning need to apply by this date.
- Tuesday, March 19 - Candidates will receive an email with choreography, music and instructions for submitting audition material.
- Saturday, March 23 - Candidates must submit audition materials by this date.
- Thursday, March 28 - 50 top finalists will be chosen and invited to attend in-person workshops.
- Friday, April 19 - The 2024 team will be announced.
Along with performing for a packed Lucas Oil Stadium at home games, Colts cheerleaders also serve the community in multiple ways. In 2023, the squad logged over 300 hours at community events.
The Colts cheerleaders are the longest-running tenured cheer program in the NFL, debuting in Baltimore in 1954.
