INDIANAPOLIS — North Central students interrupted Friday night's basketball game for a good cause.
Moments after the Panthers scored their first points of their game, dozens of stuffed animals emptied out of the student section onto the court. It was part of the school's "Teddy Bear Toss" event.
Those in attendance were asked to bring a new teddy bear or other stuffed animal to throw when the Panthers scored against Terre Haute North. The toys were then collected to be donated to elementary schools in Washington Township and to families in need.
The Panthers won Friday night's game against the Patriots, 68-49.
