PHOENIX (WTHR) - Comedian Ken Jeong played a doctor on TV - but he used to be one in real life, too. And that training came in handy when an audience member at his comedy show had a medical episode and needed help.

The star of ABC's "Dr. Ken" and a co-star of NBC's "Community" reportedly jumped from the stage to help a woman on the third row Saturday night at the Stand Up Live Comedy Club in Phoenix, according to TMZ and USA Today.

Healther Holmberg, a woman who was in the audience at the time, later tweeted at Jeong, saying, "Loved your show. How gracious you were when trouble arose. Loved it."

The woman apparently had a seizure. An EMT who was also in the audience was also able to help.
