BRENHAM, Texas (WTHR) – Blue Bell just combined three cookie dough flavors in its newest ice cream, Cookie Dough Overload.
Starting with vanilla ice cream, the new flavor includes hints of brown sugar with chocolate chip, peanut butter and fudge cookie dough pieces swirled in the mix.
“Why choose only one or two dough pieces when you can have three,” said Joe Robertson, executive director of advertising and marketing in a Blue Bell news release about the new flavor.
Blue Bell has incorporated chocolate chip and peanut butter dough in other flavors before this, Robertson said, but the fudge cookie dough pieces make the new flavor unique.
Cookie Dough Overload is scheduled for a limited run in stores.
