RANDOLPH COUNTY, Ind. — A Richmond woman is dead after a car crash Friday night.

Around 7 p.m. Nov. 29, Indiana State Police said the Randolph County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a car crash on US 35, at the intersection of County Road 900 South.

ISP said the preliminary investigation revealed that a red 2003 Cadillac, driven by Michelle Elaine Moore, 58, of Richmond, was heading west on County Road 900 S.

Police said Moore didn't stop at the stop sign and was hit on her driver's side door by a box truck heading northbound on US 35.

Moore was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

At this time, ISP said there is no suspicion of drugs or alcohol involved in the crash.

US 35 was closed for two hours for crash investigation and cleanup.
