INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after one person was killed and two others were seriously injured in a crash on Indianapolis' north side Tuesday morning.
Officers responded around 10 a.m. June 18 to the 3900 block of East Fall Creek Parkway North Drive, just north of 38th Street near the Indiana State Fairgrounds, for an incomplete 911 call. Officers discovered the two-car crash.
A man in one car was pronounced dead at the scene, while two other people in the other car were taken to a local hospital in serious condition, an IMPD spokesperson said.
IMPD fatal crash investigators are now looking into the incident.
Fall Creek Parkway North Drive is expected to remain closed in both directions for several hours Tuesday. The police spokesperson said the department did not know when it will reopen.
