Keeping the kids occupied while social distancing during coronavirus pandemic

Parents all over Indiana are currently scrambling to come up with activities for their kids now that they'll be home for the next few weeks.

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Parents all over Indiana are currently scrambling to come up with activities for their kids now that they'll be home for the next few weeks. After all, kids have no concept of “social distancing,” they just want to go to their favorite indoor playground!

For the foreseeable future, parents are faced with this kid dilemma: Can't dump them off at daycare, can't go to the nearest indoor play area, probably shouldn't invite the entire neighborhood over to your house.

So now what?

Katy Mann, founder of Indy with Kids, shows ways to entertain and educate your kids without taking them out of the house. And Katy knows kids...she has four of her own — all under the age of 8!

Families may want to take advantage of the unseasonably warm weather and get outside, away from people and things. Katy also shares her list of outdoor places to explore in solitude in Indiana.
