INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD homicide detectives are investigating after a man with traumatic injuries was found dead on Indianapolis' near west side early Monday.
Shortly before 1 a.m. Feb. 26, officers responded to the 200 block of North Tibbs Avenue, near Washington Street, for a report of a person down. Officers located a male with "injuries consistent with trauma" who was pronounced dead at the scene, IMPD said.
No additional information on the circumstances of the incident has been shared by police.
Tuesday morning, the Marion County Coroner's Office identified the man as 29-year-old Christian Abraham Garcia.
