INDIANAPOLIS — FBI agents arrested Amir Safavi Farokhi, 28, of Tucson, Arizona, for making threats to place pipe bombs on school buses in Indianapolis.
Farokhi allegedly said he would place the bombs on buses in the Castleton area and then shoot responding officers.
He is also accused of making a threat to rape and murder an employee of the Bloomington Police Department. He allegedly threatened to wait for her outside at the end of her shift.
Farokhi also allegedly threatened shootings at Arizona hospitals.
After his arrest, the United States Attorney's Office will have 30 days to indict him.
