INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Casey's General Store knows it has a faithful following when it comes to its pizza.
The General Store is expanding its pizza delivery services via DoorDash amid the coronavirus crisis so customers can enjoy its hot food in the comfort of their home.
The expansion runs across 16 states and specifically includes Indianapolis.
“Now, more than ever, it’s important to provide our guests with greater access to options for safe and convenient delivery for a family dinner or the essentials they need,” said Chris Jones, chief marketing officer, Casey’s General Stores. “Casey’s already delivers from about 800 stores, but this adds delivery service to nearly 350 stores where it wasn’t previously available.”
For now Casey's said that the delivery will only include pizza, drinks and some appetizers. However, beginning in mid-April Casey's will also deliver other groceries and household items in partnership with DoorDash.
Delivery will be available seven days a week during the Casey’s store kitchen hours. Customers must use the DoorDash app for delivery.
