INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Oprah is once again giving the Cake Bake Shop recognition. The mogul has added Gwendolyn Rogers' crumb cakes to the Favorite Things 2019 list.
The list is an annual collection of Oprah's best picks for presents just in time for the holidays.
Rogers, the owner of Cake Bake Shop, posted the announcement on Facebook. She said the announcement came with "many tears of joy."
"I made these cakes myself in my own private kitchen, shipping multiple times," she said. "This is such an incredible accomplishment for me and I am beyond blessed and grateful."
Oprah highlights the blueberry and walnut flavors of Rogers' crumb cake.
"Sugar was never my thing, which is why I fell for Gwendolyn Rogers's crumb cakes. In flavors like maple walnut or blueberry, they're moist, old-fashioned, sweet but not overly, and pretty in pink—the color of her signature box."
